Invitation to Students in Higher/Further (Tertiary) Education living in the Berkeley Area
Students are invited to apply to the Berkeley Grammar School Educational Fund Charity for a small grant to assist them in the purchase of equipment or text books for their course in Higher/Further Education.
Applications should be sent during September – November, for consideration by the Governors of the Charity in December.
Criteria for Applicants:
ALL Applicants must be living within one of the five Berkeley Area Parishes (Alkington, Berkeley, Hamfallow, Ham & Stone, and Hinton) at the time of applying and receiving a grant.
It would be desirable for the student to have attended one of the schools within these parishes for their primary education, and/or one of the larger local area secondary schools, although the Governors may use their discretion over this point.
Any successful applicant is expected to reply to the Charity with details of how the grant was spent.
